Our Communities

Ten communities across Maine–from Calais to Mexico and from Van Buren to Roque Bluffs–have enrolled in the program. Each with a unique set of challenges and opportunities, but with a shared interest in building on their assets and taking charge of change.

Each municipality has appointed one or two trainees to represent the town in the training program. In the third and final year of the program, towns are eligible to apply for an Implementation Grant to help kick-start priority community actions identified by the trainees and their communities.
